Lady Contractor
Well umi is a lady builder n why, i love d challenge on managing d entire construction of a project. I've experience many building new project example airport, jetty school n clinic desa but this new project requires lot of human management coz its rectification works of a government quarters of 378 units. Imagine everybody wants their units to be rectified earliest but who deserve first- apa lagi ikut program le However it' not that easy as every living unit has diffferent furniture n mess. arranging workers n motivating them 2 clean d mess A BIG O WOW.
Got 3 supervisors but guys thinking umi lady they take easy only, however 2day advice them n got the respect coz they realised umi know more n want 2 learn. Being a lady builder a lot of paper work n letter writing cozz umi tak succumb 2 money trading. A Ha good 4 me save money n a little bit extra on inking. Ok right. During site meeting always consultant thought umi know nothing but again they be ok once hearing my reports n progress. Meeting was skip this month coz umi progress aok n ahead of program but umi's voice getting louder coz 2 much self pollution. hehehe can guess ke mirul apa itu.
Lastly umi can say d only set back in being a successful lady builder u can only sleep 3 hours a day with none of ur own time. ALAS Penat but then its worth it coz i love managing projects.

that's the spirit umi! wahh kid pun nak ikut macam umi, very hard working..my butt is shrinking now sebab duduk atas kerusi reading and writing for the whole day! kerusi kat library pun bau masam dah! huhu~
but but umi,
how to be a good leader? i get freak very easily when ppl appoint me to lead anything..confidence?
mm..what should i say to myself? kid rasa, just by saying. 'dont worry, kid can do it' is just not eanough at all..i need proof that i can do!
eg. why i take calculus (subject yg kalo boleh org lain tak nak amik), not following others? because i've proven to myself from previous experiences, failures and success..now, i have no worry cos i know i can carry. so here i am, taking the road less taken, doing what others won't.
so,in leadership case, how can i find the 'proof' and 'asah' my ability to lead?

Well kid umi's advise must know who are ur followers n their levels. Then what is d task or subject/project. Secondly what is d accomplishment. Thirdly list them down n color code them. Study ur group n exploit their potential. Then share ur task. After 1 day or two personaly checked their accomplishment n credit dulu b4 sharing them a better way or view. At meeting or discussion listened 2 their reporting. Study them n advice, U'll get their respects. At presentation mentions as ours n us never i. Any wrongs accept them as i but never say forget but will check. K

ahaks.. sebenarnya kan umi, tak faham pun apa yg umi maksudkan with your voice getting louder, nak jerit lebih because of ur condition? i don't see what is the connection of ur disease with screaming...

Morning kid what umi mearnt by never said forget but will check is when reporting n clieny found a mistake never agree but humbly say u'll checked them n as a leader we never push our mistakes 2 others coz we are also learning especially human management.Take care
well mirul Umi is a builder in fact be building houses at PA=aka t'ganu, awaiting 1 letter from d council. Been travelling 2 t'ganu often n like d place, will consider as second home. As 4 my sons they'll ok coz we always spent time 2gether camping n lazing at d beach here. Wany 2 join. Aha cuti nanti ok.
Well mirul why d sigh knowing umi a contractor coz usually umi prefer as a builder coz a contrctor suka manipulate contracts as profit but umi used d contract as a guide so as consultant tak macam2 money politic. Umi usually build thinking of d end user n bila complete n listen 2 their amazement what more 2 asked. SATISFACTION LE.
it is true that contractor get contracts but they also build buildings (exception for most malay contractors)
oh yes.. and we love beaches.. *bunyi pantai tiba2 menyergah masuk ke dalam lab computer*
